Soul

In the garden, my soul is sunshine.

-author unknown

It's the place we go to smile and laugh without hearing a joke. Just knowing that they are alive and growing is enough. The golden glow, the blushing and pretty pink, the pale, cool blue, they are all capable of swaying our moods. Flower! Make me laugh, make me sing, make me dance.

I am singing. I am laughing. I am dancing.

This is really touching. I think everyone who gardens or not can relate to flowers making us happy.:) Good job

That's lovely. I wish I had a large enough area to have room to actually be in a flower bed. I pack mine full, and have to enjoy them from outside the bed.

Me too just thinking about the garden. I wish I could stay there all the time.

It's amazing what a garden can do for your spirits.

Or, at least your beautiful flowers are!

I love your pictures but wish these laptops came with "smellavision".

They can also make me swoon, especially an old Gertrude Jekyll rose! One of the most aromatic roses I've ever sniffed!

What beautiful thoughts, and to go along with them, such gorgeous photos! I'm sitting here in my chilly dining room and your photos make it feel like summer.
