A Cruel Lady!

On Thursday I went for a walk in the woods enjoying temps in the 60's. It was a perfect spring day.

This morning I awoke to this.

Mother Nature you are a cruel girl!

Omigosh! What a tragedy for the tree. I hope that there wasn't any damage to that car! It's always upsetting to lose part of your landscape. I hope you still have power. Take care and be careful.

Ouch, looks like it missed the house and the car? During Hurricane Fran my neighbor had one of my trees fall just like this without the snow.

My feeds are down but I'm preparing a snowy posting from Durham, NC we got 3 inches last night.

It hit the car but not bad. some scratches are likely but thats it. Luckily its not my car! Mine is new. It's my bf's car and its kind of a junker so no biggy about the scratches.

The tree hit the house but not bad. We heard the noise but didn't realize what it was till morning. We can't leave the house in though. Blocked in.

Ah yes, Mother Nature is fickle! We had the same situation here, not with a tree, but warm temperatures, followed by 10 inches of snow last night! Glad you're okay.

Yikes! My heart is with you ... we just spent over $1000 simply pruning storm damaged mulbery trees! Glad you're fine :)

Thanks for the concerned comments. Luckily no damage was done except of course for the tree. We rent here so we didn't have to pay for any clean ups. One of the few perks of renting.
