Sunshine on a stalk

It's sunflower season in Elk Rapids, MI. I see lots of people throughout the day stopping to take pictures of all these beauties. How could you resist.

It's also Oriental lily season at my house. My Casa Blanca lilies are going crazy this year! They are as tall as me and extremely fragrant. They have multiplied well since a year ago, sending up three times as many stalks. My most favorite lily for sure.

What a lovely field! I was looking for a sunflower field like that one to take some pictures of my girls. Unfortunately, there are none in my area this year. I wish I lived close to you. Great shots! Carla

Oh boy I love those Casa Blancas too! Yours are HUGE! I added more this Spring - to right under my nose at the patio. Now I can enjoy them up close. They are so incredible.

These are very beautiful blooms! Being in the lawn maintenance Phoenix industry, the sight of lovely flowers like these make me glad to be in this line of work. Greenery and flowering blooms make outdoor spaces inviting and alive.
