Janelle's Garden Update

I was able to run over to her house the day I left for Savannah to take these shots so they are a week old. I'm sure the daffodils are past their prime now. I new the spring blooms would be at there peak so I had to make time to get over there.

Pink Charm Daffs. One of my favorites.

The Bleeding Hearts were just getting started.

I don't care what anyone says, I love Forsythia!

Hellebores against the beautiful blue sky.

Sweet little Scilla Siberica.

Quince

Trout Lily

Bloodroot

A large clump of Trillium. This one is a native to Janelle's yard.

A wonderful place to rest.

Standing at the top of the hill looking at the beauty Janelle has created.

One of her beautiful stone benches.

They are all spectacular (ah ... Spring!) but the Quince is amazing. Reminds me that I planted one last year but it was itty bitty so if it even makes it, it will be years before I have a display like that.

Delighted you stopped by, dear Michelle, to say hello and also wish you a Happy Easter. So enjoyed catching up with your 'adventurous' life and lovely photos. Happy spring!

I would dearly love to have trillium in my garden.
You have captured the flowers in their splendor.

The many plants give a definite character to the garden. The varieties in colours, shapes and foliage make the garden so distinct! ~bangchik

She has such a gorgeous place! I love hellebores, but they won't grow here!

To get Bilbo you have to leave a comment on each post that his host does about him. They will draw names, and who ever has their name drawn, that is where he goes next. It took Tootsie an entire year to get him!!! So leave her a comment on each post she does about him! I would love for him to come visit you and see all or your irises, and maybe even visit Janelle! LOL!
