You've still got tulips left - I'm envious. And I love the cherry orchards. You're right; plants do heal the soul!

I love tulips and am always sorry to see them go -- will need to plant more this fall -- Inever have enought ulips and I love primroses -- but alas, they are cool weather friends here on theprairie. I'm hoping to bring a couple in and see if I can keep them (like my violets)

I can't believe you still have tulips blooming. It is no longer spring here, summer weather arrived a long time ago.

Those primroses look like the same ones you see for a buck or two at the grocery store. Can you plant those and consider them perennials, or do you need to track down hardy ones?
