I just drooled a bit!

Japanese Tree Peonies have that affect on me. I wish these pics were all of my garden but credit goes to Tanglewood Gardens and my friend Sarah's incredible yard.

Tree Peony at Tanglewood.

The thick double blossoms of this cherry are so sweet.(Tanglewood)

Wisteria! That's all I have to say.(Tanglewood)

So awesome to see you post about it. You were practically in my back yard. I know exactly where that wisteria is! I wonder how the plants sale went? I wanted to go but we worked on the cottage all day.

Those tree peonies are so pretty, I just love the colors! I think wisteria in bloom is one of my favorite flowers.

Apparently, the world's largest Wisteria (somewhere in California) is estimated to weigh 250 tons. How's that for a Wisteria! Sure is a beautiful vine, though.

I love peonies too. But a tree? I've never seen one. They look fantabulous.

I love tree peonies and your pics showed me some kinds I haven't seen pictures of (never had the privelige of seeing them in the flesh).

Also I love wisteria and if there is a 250-ton one in my state I must find and see (and smell!) it!

I am just now planting some flowers and my Iris, and white Lilac tree are blooming. My hosta's are coming up along with my lilly's. I just love spring everything is awaking. I will be posting my plants that are in bloom.

Wow, those are some amazing tree peonies! They are like royalty in the garden. We have been to Tanglewood and stayed in one of the very rustic cabins there. It was filled with wildflowers in the woods.

wow, I'm seeing photos of cherry blossoms EVERYWHERE -- some friends in England just sent photos of those on their street, blooming so beautifully. I grew up in DC, so trips to the Potomac to see the cherry blossom trees coming alive ... wow, unforgettable. Those Japanese peonies are BOMB ...
