Andrew and I ended up waiting till the 30th to carve our pumpkins, oops! Actuall, it was about 1:00 a.m. so I guess it was the 31st. We just did freehand designs instead of the fancy stencil kits that we normally use. I think they turned out pretty cute.
Mine is on the right. It looks petrified in the lite. Andrew's pumpkin is much more menacing than mine.
Mine looks a little less scared and a bit more fierce in the dark.
We went out to down town Winston and had a good time. Hit a few bars. So many great costumes out there! I loved seeing folks dressed up as monsters from "Where the Wild Things Are."
How was your Halloween?

Sounds fun. I didn't get to do too much this halloween, I was just running around way too much. Your pumpkin looks like it is afraid of Andrews (I think that was his name...If not, sorry)
Sounds fun! I think it is better to wait to carve your p-kins. We carved too early and they started stinking.
I had a migraine on Halloween. It sucked.
We waited til the night before Halloween too to carve ours. I like how yours turned out. I love seeing how creative people can be with costumes.
Your pumpkin's nose is oh-so-much-more delicate - quite fetching. Being scarey is definitely over rated. Sounds like you had lots of fun - which is what Halloween is all about.
I like both pumpkins. And I think traditional carving beats out that high tech stenciling stuff. (Some things never go out of fashion.)
If you saw my last "Say Nothin' Saturday" blog post, then you know how my Halloween went. ;~)
