My Dream Yard

These are some shots of a friends garden. This is just one small area of her yard. I for some reason didn't take more pics when I was there. She lives in a beautiful old farmhouse complete with several large barns, two cabins, and several small storage buildings, a greenhouse, sauna, and gazebo!

A small portion of her wonderful primula collection. Many are from seed from England.

A glimpse of one of the large barns.

The sauna and stream.

So Paradise really does exist? And your friend lives there!

Now I'm really jealous.

Very nice! I'd love to have a red barn and a shed like those. Perfect!

I can see how it is a dream garden...the outbuildings are wonderful...then there are those delightful garden beds! The stream/water feature is so perfect! Sigh! gail

Wow, your friend lives in such a beautiful place! Love the Primulas -- they're beautiful, and such lovely soft colors.

Almost any time you start with "Lives in an old farm house," I'm halfway to smitten. I worked as a gardener for a woman living in a restored very old farmhouse in VA. Boy, was it pretty! But lots of work.

Thanks for stopping by my blog today!

I really like the little primula bed, with all of the spring flowers in white, blue and purple. It looks especially nice with the simple wood shake background. The little stream running through the lush green is very idyllic.
