You really scooped up some bargains. I haven't seen anything like that here. It sounds like you are going to have a fabulous shade garden with all of your new additions.<br /><br />My astilbes are in bloom right now, so of course I was thinking I should add some more. The Heuchera, Pulmonaria and Epimedium foliage are looking really good too. These plants really carry the garden in between flowering. I've really grown to appreciate these plants. My solomon's seal is supposed to be a giant, but right now it thinks it's a dwarf. The sensitive fern gets a really slow start in spring, but it is looking great now.<br /><br />At one gallon size, you will have an established shade garden next year.
